My goal is to capture thoughtful expressions, moments of agreement or disagreement, and the dynamics between panellists. I coordinate with the AV team to understand seating and lighting arrangements, ensuring I can move around the room without blocking sightlines or appearing in the live feed.


Awards and gala dinners
Award presentations and gala dinners are often the social highlight of a conference. The challenge here is to work efficiently when people are moving on and off stage. I position winners and presenters quickly, take multiple frames to avoid blinks, and then step back so the next award can proceed. During dinners, I switch to a more interactive style: posed group photos for teams who want a souvenir, candid shots of people enjoying the entertainment, and wider frames that show the décor and ambiance.
Smaller meetings and intimate events
Not every business gathering fills a convention centre. Board meetings, training sessions and client luncheons often have modest production budgets and little stage lighting. These rooms can be poorly lit, so I arrive with appropriate lenses and lighting to create a flattering look without turning the room into a studio. In smaller settings, it’s even more important to be unobtrusive. My goal is to capture genuine interactions and details like handwritten notes or branded notebooks that tell the story of a productive gathering.
Delivery and turnaround
